Why you'd want to live in Zilker & Barton Hills

On the west of Austin’s hip, laid-back southern side, south of Lady Bird Lake, between Mopac Expressway (Loop 1) and South Lamar Boulevard, lie Zilker, next to the famous lakeside park of the same name, and slightly southward, Barton Hills and Spyglass, on either side of the sprawling Barton Creek Greenbelt, a park and nature preserve that runs the length of Barton Creek to the shores of the lake.
